The use of Common Sense is sadly not use as often as it should be. Think before you speak. If it hurts you or someone you care about don't do it unless it is absolutely necessary. Study the situation first before jumping the gun and basing everything on emotion. Is it logical to do this or is it illogical? If bad guys still guns and break laws, will creating a law to ban guns help solve the problem? Wouldn't it be better to bring incentive to combat the bad guys by getting people to join law enforcement? If you give a poor man a dollar have you really helped him? Really? did you? What did he buy with that dollar, drugs....cigarettes....alcohol? Buy him food instead...if he asks for it again and again...you still are not helping him, you are making him comfortable being poor. Teach him to work for his food, make him do something for the food or dollar you give him. Teaching is truly helping. If it is legal to have someone drug tested for work shouldn't it be ok to drug test someone for welfare? What are they doing with the welfare money? Do you assume that they are using it in the way it was meant to be used? No you assume they need to be taught like the poor man I just mentioned. If you are in a bad financial situation but have a job what do you do? Borrow money from some one? That may help...but what if you can't pay that person back? Borrow again and again? No, talk to the first person you owe, make a deal they usually help. Pick up a second job, get a hobby that you can make some extra cash on and pay down your debt as fast as you can. Owe no man anything! If you do this life will be much easier. Save your money, donate to a good cause if you would like and keep the receipt for tax return.
Mostly think things through. Think it through with your brain, then feel in your heart if it is the right thing to do. Sometimes it feels wrong at first,because you may be losing something material that you want or would like, But you will understand the more you do the better you feel.
